About

Maybe it’s because I read John Molloy’s “Dress for Success” during my formative years, but I’ve always been interested in what clothes have to say about people and how people express themselves through what they wear. This blog, Clothesmonaut, exists not just to show off interesting fashions and costumes, but to meditate on what they mean.

Who am I? I am your genial hostess, Civilservant. By day a librarian, by night a bellydancer, costumer, writer, and budding visual artist.
